However, the company choosing the safer path, kept the ABS as a selective option, so as to not disturb the traditional aspect of looking for new bikes in our country, as the version along with ABS, due to the mechanism, cost Rs. 12000 additional as compared to the non-ABS version, ex-showroom in the capital. But according to the reports since its launch, more than 50 percent of the sales of these bikes, the consumers of the nation have opted for the BAS models in the Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
In fact this new additional aspect has made the buyers come close to this new launched machine and opt for it, reported by the President of Bajaj Auto’s motorcycle business; Mr. Eric Vyas.The official publicized in a conference that more than 50 percent of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 consumers have chosen for the top-end ABS version that is estimated at Rs 1.3 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. As of the month of June this current year, Bajaj states that it has established more than 3,500 bookings for the RS200 pan-India.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is created on the similar casing as the Pulsar 200 NS. Still, it is motorized by a fuel-injected variant of the 199.5 cc dynamo that churns out 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of force. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the Pulsar RS200 has an assured top-speed of 141 km/h.Right after the debut of the Pulsar RS200, Bajaj Auto also rolled out their fresh and new Adventure Sport series of bikes, the AS 150 and the AS 200, both of them are also grounded on the 200 NS’s case. Bajaj has set themself scheduled goals of 2,500 units of the RS200, 10,000 units of the AS 150 and 5,000 units of the AS 200.
