Post to obtaining 51 per cent share of Peugeot Motorcycles (PMTC), Mahindra Brand is now organizing to roll out a variety of scooters in India. Rendering to a report available in Topgear, Mahindra would launch three Peugeot Scooters in distinct price groups and power choices. The report articulates that the three scooters that the brand is arranging to carry out are namely - Django, Satelis 125 and Speedfight 3.
All of them are at present up for sale in the European markets. The Django 125cc scooter with its archaic shape would yield on the Vespa LX 125.The Satelis fit to the motor-scooter category, therefore would contest beside the approaching Hero ZIR 150 and Honda PCX 150. However, the Speedfight 3 is an entry-level scooter that is obtainable in diverse capabilities in the European marketplaces. However, the one we supposed to come to Indian market is the 125cc.
Gossip has it that the brand may also roll out a smaller in size variant of its extremely famous scooter - the Metropolis. The European Metropolis is a three-wheeled 400cc scooter that produces out 37bhp. Though, the company doesn't have a reduced engine for the Metropolis. So if both the brands - Mahindra and Peugeot - are thoughtful about introducing it here, they'll have to advance an all new-machine for this.
Though the company hasn't formally said something about its invention, we suppose all the India-bound Peugeot scooters to be present and leave a mark at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. While Mahindra has been a trusted name for cars in India, this new venture could surely bring it on top amongst the two wheeler market too, and with these details and the layout of the scooter, we can imagine a great audience already for this new concept.
