Honda bike sales dip by 12 percent last month

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) declared a 12 per cent dip in the complete sales for the month of November 2015. The company managed to sell across 326895 units during the previous month compared to 371764 units traded in the similar month of November during the previous year 2014

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) declared a 12 per cent dip in the complete sales for the month of November 2015. The company managed to sell across 3,26,895 units during the previous month compared to 3,71,764 units traded in the similar month of November during the previous year 2014. This comprises exports and domestic sales of bike and scooters both. Scooter sales dipped a little in the similar period, carrying 2,08,014 units traded in November 2015 as compared to 2,16,952 units in the similar month during the previous year. The bike sales also went slow as the brand managed to sell around 1,04,490 units during the previous  month. They had managed to sell across 1,36,786 units traded in the consequent period in the year 2014.

The little dip in sales numbers can be accredited to the intended three-day plant protection closure. Even if the HMSI sales reports display a reduction in sales numbers, the number of vehicles traded is not less compared to the industry standards. The company dealt reaching the three million units sales benchmark in merely eight months that is a new highlight for them. Supported by the festive season, they also established a record of surpassing 2.2 lakh units sold in one day on the occasion of Dhanteras. HMSI lately rolled out the CB Shine SP and is now preparing for the launch of the CB Hornet 160 Ron on the 10th of December 2015. This would be the year’s final produce to be rolled out from the wide-ranging launch plan that they had intended
