Hero launches Duet and Maestro Edge today

All set to compete against the most popular Honda Activa, the brand Hero all set to roll out their perfect scooters, like the Duet along with the Maestro edge in the domestic market today.

Highlights of the scooters:

Engine: Both of the exceptionally good looking scooters would acquire its power from a 110.9 cc engine, while they would be placed in the native market’s 110 cc segment that has been well captured by the Honda Activa at the moment. The best part about these scooters is that it is being powered by a 110.9 cc unit, crafted thoughtfully by the brand Hero itself. While the unit carries a capacity to produce 8.43 PS @ 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 8.3Nm @ 6500 rpm, mated to a CVT. While the fuel efficacy is still under wraps, should be declared at the launch itself.

Proportion:

The Maestro Edge: 1840mm X 695mm X 1190mm, being the length, width and the height respectively, along with a ground clearance of 155mm along with a kerb weight of 109-110 kg that depends upon the weight.

The Hero Duet: 1830 X 725mm X 1140mm, being the size length wise into its width and height in that order, along with the ground clearance being at 155mm along with a kerb weight of 115-116 kg.

Although the scooter might look quite largely identical, however they are diverse in terms of their looks, and the body, as the Hero Duet acquires an all metal body. The Maestro Edge sports specs like a mobile charging system, a lamp at the under seat space, a telescopic front suspension, fuel filler on the outer body along with 12-inch good looking alloys, combined braking, LED tail lamps and a merged and mixed panel that comprises of digital and analogue equipment that would also remind for servicing. The scooter is out in 7 distinct colors. While the Hero Duet deals with all the above features and is supplemented with an all metal body. It would be offered in various 6 colors. Both the two scooters deceptively share similar platforms.
