Fastest Cycle In The World At 263 kmph And It Is Powered By A Rocket

Francois Gissy who was much known for setting record for highest cycling speed in 2002 broke his own record recently. The last record was formed at a speed of 242.6 kmph which this time exceeded to 263 kmph. The cycle was powered by a rocket fuel that helped the man in gaining such unbelievable speed.

The rocket powered bicycle that Gissy was riding this year broke his own record that he had set in 2002. The fuel that was used was powdered hydrogen peroxide. In 2002, the record that Francois Gissy set was on a similar rocket powered cycle that was of 242.6 kmph. But this year, along with his experience and practice there was an increase in his speed too, that touched an astonishing figure of 263 kmph.  The man who seemed too nervous in the beginning gained complete control in a while and took such speed that led him to break him his own record.

Fastest Cycle in the World

This accomplishment took place at the Munchhouse aerodrome that is located in Haut-Rhin France on Sunday. The speed of the French man was such that within minutes of his start he took over the car that was riding along to shoot them, and the man disappeared ahead of everybody’s vision due to which nobody could t record the historical event.

The rocket whose fuel was used for powering this cycle was made by Exotic Thermo Engineering Company that hails from Switzerland. The fuel that was used to power this rocket was a highly concentrated derivative of liquid hydrogen. This stuff is now available on sale in various drug stores across the nation. This chemical when heated to 650° F breaks down further to release steam.
