Bajaj to introduce ZX-10R and ZX-14R superbikes in India

India’s top leading two wheeler manufacturing company is working toward the launch of two new superbikes in Indian market within next few weeks. These two bikes, ZX-10R and ZX-14R will be launched under Kawasaki Ninja brand. The bikes are powered by 998cc and 1441cc if engines respectively.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R was first introduced in 2004 with 998cc engine that provides a power output of 212PS. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. A sprint from zero to century is achieved within 2.84 seconds while top speed of 290kmph will be reached in 11.99 seconds. The bike comes with ABS system with 310mm front and 220mm rear disc. Talking about the mileage, according to company the bike will give a mileage of 13.7kmpl.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is the fastest production bike in the world. This is the top of the line bike from the Japanese company. The bike possesses a 1441cc engine powered by six-speed transmission provides 212PS of peak power. Top speed is restricted to 299kmph and sprint from naught to century can be achieved in 2.62 seconds. The bike got a monocoque frame that adds more to its sporty appeal. The ZX-14R is one of most fastest and comfortable touring motorcycles. The bike was offered in both ABS and non-ABS models.

The bikes are imported in India as CBU, and sold via Bajaj India’s ProBiking dealer network. Bajaj has got 72 dealerships across India for making these models easily available for the buyer.
About the pricing, 10R will cost around 15lakh rupee while 14R will be available at 17lakh rupee.
